Technical Engineer / Assistant Technical Manager

Job Description

1. Provide both remote technical support (telephone, email, etc.) and on-site technical support, such as commissioning, maintenance (preventive, corrective and/or predictive), troubleshooting, retrofit, system upgrades and all product related activities of Siemens motors, variable frequency drives and drive-based / PLC-based motion control product.

2. Performa Application Engineering including understanding customer's application, sizing & sections of equipment and System integration for AC/DC VFDs & Motion Control technology for retrofit and replacement projects.

3. Work closely with Sales, Technical Support, Engineering and various internal groups to manage escalated customer inquiries. Understanding of customer needs and issues related to their operations and maintenance.

4. Ensure following in Siemens' standards and mainly, precautions and responsibilities related to EHS.
