The Project Controller is in the lead for the completion of all project commercial/financial related matters, including but not limited to handling Accounting, Legal, Tax, New Collaboration Model (NCM) and Export Compliance and Control (ECC) topics. The Project Controller ensures the compliance of applicable regulations during the offer and project execution phase. He/she supports the Project Manager with the objective of executing the project in accordance with defined PM@ Siemens guidelines/standards, customer requirements and the applicable Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG). A professional collaboration between the Project Controller and the Project Manager is key for the overall project success.
The Project Controller works within Smart Infrastructure
, in the team led by Gerbert, head of Business Controlling from Distribution Systems. It’s a team of 14 people, both male and female with a nice mix of junior and more senior project controllers. This business unit takes care of the supply and installation of Energy distribution systems in data centers in the Netherlands and abroad (global center of competence for data centers).
- Completed a university or higher vocational degree in Business Administration/ Economics;
- Experience in risk, claim and contract management.
- Insight into SAP R/3 Business Warehouse, MS Office, IFRS and SOX.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Proven experience working in a sophisticated work environment.
- You have a critical mind and an enterprising nature. You are not afraid to speak up and are self-confident.
