Join a well-established DevOps group working on infrastructure, security, framework, and scalability solutions for a large-scale Java based platform. Maintain mission critical infrastructure services and develop new ones:
Collaborate with Developers, QA and IT professionals in a global organization to support their needs and add long term value to the business
Design, improve, implement, release and maintain infrastructure that meets functionality, usability, reliability, performance/capacity and supportability requirements.
Participate in continuous improvement of architecture, infrastructure, processes, skills and the organization including influence on the future direction and technology used for development
Participate in project planning and tracking including task investigation, work breakdown and estimation
Software Skills: Experience in routine application of object oriented design and unit testing. Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities. Proven capability of designing suitable solutions using appropriate algorithms and data structures. Good familiarity with software development best practices, lifecycle and methodologies
IT Skills: Experience of Linux administration including use of a scripting language such as Perl, Groovy or Python.
Soft Skills: Good verbal and written English communication skills. Commitment to quality. Eagerness to learn and take initiative
Education: Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other engineering/technical/scientific domain
Experience of Jenkins configuration and plugin development
Experience of IT automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform
Experience working in a team using an Agile process
Experience developing with Java
Familiarity with secure software development practices and tools
Familiarity with relational databases, SQL and/or NoSQL databases
