Siemens Mobility LLC, SCM Logistics looks for a Logistics Specialist with location in Moscow office.

Responsibilities:
  • logistics cost calculation, coordination with the customers, customs brokers and forwarding companies, planning of deliveries, all-round sales support during contract preparation and project realization connected with logistics topics;
  • to secure correctness of delivery conditions and terms of the contracts to be concluded, requirements for the goods to be delivered and shipment documents by importation/ exportation on/ from the territory of Eurasian Economic Union and to check its correspondence with the Russian legislation;
  • organization of needed customs formalities with customs brokers; organization of shipments and deliveries to final destination points (international and local);
  • coordination and close collaboration with accounting office and central logistics department in Corporate SCM;
  • consulting of employees and customers of the division on questions of customs clearance and organization of transportation of the goods;
  • calculation of customs duties, fees, VAT for advanced payments, payments’ controlling with customs, coordination with customs brokers;
  • daily and overall communication with business units’ employees on delivery questions, delivery reporting;
  • safeguard providing permitted documents required for realization of import and export deliveries in conformity with the contracts of the division and effective legislation of Russian Federation;
  • working in SAP, Goods Receipt transaction.

What is required from the candidate:
  • 2-3 years of experience in logistics;
  • advanced knowledge of English;
  • Excel user (“vlookup” and pivot tables);
  • analytical mindset;
  • system approach to problem solving;
  • desire to learn, develop and optimize;
  • pro-active nature, self-dependence, result-oriented, self-motivated achiever, ability to push things through, well developed analytical skills, decision maker, team- and customer oriented;
  • professional education with specialization in logistics area, foreign trade, commercial activities, economic etc. would be an advantage;
  • experience in organization of deliveries, experience with customs brokers and forwarders would be an advantage.
