We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join our team in our North Ryde, NSW offices.  Reporting to the Solution Sales Manager, this role will be both challenging and rewarding.  The primary function is to support solution business volume growth in Branch North through efficient and effective lead generation, opportunity development, and value propositions, whilst also being responsible for the ongoing management of customer relationships. This covers all the Smart Building solution offerings within the Siemens Smart Infrastructure portfolio with a focus on our Digital Building and Building Automation solutions. 

Working with our team locally and internationally the successful candidate will execute the business’ go-to-market strategy for volume development and report on progress regionally. You will collaborate with Siemens branch account executives on identifying and targeting customers that can best benefit from our Smart Building cloud-based offerings including workplace safety, employee experience, space utilization and many others as well as identifying opportunities for our Smart Building Automation solutions. 

There will also be a focus on educating and promoting our Smart Building and IoT solutions and services within the commercial construction market that includes, Consultants, Architects, Engineers, General Contractors, Developers, Property Managers and Building Owners.

In order to be considered for this opportunity you will be able to demonstrate sales experience across solutions and services (ideally building controls technology, SaaS, enterprise software, IoT platform and real estate technology), as well as experience in consultative and value-based selling. 

The successful candidate will be able to foster high level customer relationships with senior executives and technical buyers at Fortune 500 companies including a diverse ecosystem of key partners such as IT and Line-of-Business executives and have a defined track record of establishing successful partnerships in innovation. A successful track record achieving or exceeding annual quota SaaS and/or enterprise software solutions attainment and subscription metrics will also be received favourably. 

The ability to develop and critically analyse a sales pipeline, forecast, and report on relevant metrics using Salesforce and related tools is an absolute must.
