    This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Project Manager/ Technical Writer, you will be responsible for:

     

    • Managing product labeling content development activities and deliverables supporting launch of new products and current commercial products.
    • Developing and maintaining detailed product labeling project plans, project budgets, and design control documents (design input requirements, design outputs, verification reports)
    • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
    • Managing all project deliverables to ensure high quality, on-time completion of development activities and labeling deliverables.
    • Operating as a strong project manager, strong integrator, knowledgeable resource, facilitator and to the project team.
    • Experience working cross-departmentally to communicate the details of a product.
    • Core part of the product development team working directly with subject matter experts to manage product labeling content, oversee translations, and manage product labeling reviews and approvals.
    • Ability to learn product labeling concepts and communicate the information by using strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communications and experience working with content in multiple mediums.
    • Strong experience owning an end-to-end documentation creation process or equivalent.
    • Identifying critical path activities and working with various functions to set contingencies and eliminate road-blocks throughout the project lifecycle. 
    • Actively participating in project team meetings to ensure successful completion of deliverables using standardized project tools and content management systems.
    • A positive attitude, willing to jump in and tackle new challenges.

    • Experience working in IVD, medical device, pharmaceutical Healthcare industry
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
    • Project experience in Lean or Agile development methodology
    • Experience as a Technical Writer and/or understanding of product labeling development and workflow and relevant manufacturing processes
    • Ability to analyze, edit, and organize complex technical information

      

    Required skills to have for the success of this role:

     

    • BA/BS in Life Sciences, Content Development, Engineering, Medical Technology, or Technical Management
    • 6-10 years of experience as a Project Manager, Project Planner or Technical Writer in an FDA regulated design control environment.
    • Understanding of and experience with product labeling localization
    • Leadership skills and ability to motivate a team without direct line authority.
    • Positive, constructive attitude and ability to develop effective relationships with all levels of personnel.
    • Ability to efficiently and effectively organize, improve, and simplify complex source material while identifying and filling gaps.
    • Excellent communicator and teammate who will proactively communicate questions and needs to subject matter experts and escalate issues to management for prompt resolution.
