R&D Financial Controller

Job Description

For our Air Insulated Switchgear Research & Development Team, we are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and team-oriented R&D Financial Controller whose role would be to drive forward and steer the financial performance of AIS R&D organization in collaboration with the Global R&D Organization! The position will prepare budgets and forecasts, perform complex variance analysis, evaluate key financial and operational metrics, maintain and enhance several ongoing monthly and quarterly reports, and support a broad range of financial and business management in a matrix environment!

What are my responsibilities?

Ensures coherence with R&D Controlling standards, policies and procedures, adopts respective processes.

Planning, monitoring and reviews of R&D Turkey's budget, and provides and comments Actual vs. Plan reports.

Supervises financial performance, provides critical metric analyses, and prepares and comments respective performance reporting and forecasts.

Contribute & Control EVA calculations of new R&D Projects, and ensure timely updates when necessary.

Perform necessary tasks for dispatch & export of samples prototypes and other supplies of R&D projects.

Ensures timely completion of yearly R&D Project agreements with R&D HeadQuarter.

Follows and executes all necessary tasks in order to fulfil R&D incentive report and ensures incentive preconditions are realized.

Ensures the accuracy of R&D project books and records, including recording of such in the appropriate systems.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or relevant fields,
  • 3 years of experience is required for similar field,
  • Very good command of Turkish and English language (German will be an asset),
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
  • Knowledge of accounting, controlling, cost accounting and management reporting (IFRS),
  • Knowledge of SAP FI/CO modules (SD and MM will be regarded as an asset), MS Office applications.
