TITLE: Service Technician
COMPANY: Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc.
DUTIES: Install, service, maintain, and modify Siemens imaging products at customer sites. Perform service, preventative maintenance, modifications and installations on our site of MR, CT, US, AX, XP, Mammo and NM Diagnostic Imaging equipment at customer sites as well as establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers. Assist the Regional Service Manager with assessing service metrics and making recommendations on how to improve them in addition to recommending improvements and changes to services, processes, procedures, and technical bulletins. Provide advanced technical training and support to customer personnel. Assist others in managing challenging situations pertaining to these Siemens products.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or a related field, and 8 years of experience in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation. Full term of experience must include the following skills: testing, repairing and maintaining capital medical equipment; Radiation Generating Systems in Advanced Therapy Systems and diagnostic Rad/Fluoro systems, Dicom Networking, remote diagnostics and provide Technical Support for both customers and engineers; utilizing complex calibration tools and service test equipment including the aforementioned items; proficient knowledge of MR, Spect-CT (Nuc Med), and CT systems. Tele-commuting permitted when not at customer site. Approximately 90% travel to customer sites in Colorado and Wyoming is required.
