The Program Manager – Assay Development is responsible for supporting, planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring in vitro diagnostic product development projects. 


As the PMO Program Manager, responsibilities include   

     Leading Core Teams and Design Change Teams 

     Building and developing cross-functional, multi-site contacts within the product development and manufacturing teams.  

     Managing verbal and written project communications to stakeholders (Core Team members, functional managers, development partners, and senior management).

     Ensuring completeness and archiving of project documentation.

     Producing budgets and reports for project direct spend and cross-project resource management.

Reports to the Director of Program Management, Walpole, MA.


Skills and Project Management expertise:

     Eight (8+) years of experience managing projects

     Requires advanced skills in product development processes and a general business understanding, preferably in the medical device industry or pharmaceuticals.   

     Demonstrated highly effective written and oral communications skills including Negotiation skills- Strong analytical skills to assess situations and drive decision      making

     Ability to coordinate across disciplines and integrate all aspects of business as they impact development projects

     Experience in producing effective written reports (i.e. published papers, company reports, etc.

     Ability to function in a changing, high-impact position, with deadline and resource constraints


Education Discipline:

     Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or Project Management disciplines

     PMI PMP certification desired.
