The Role

We are looking for a University Recruiter to join our growing University Relations (UR) Team! In this role, you will be supporting all recruitment efforts for the Genesis Program, our full-time, entry-level program for recent college grads! The University Recruiter will be responsible for owning the recruitment life cycle (identifying, attracting, and assessing talent) for the Genesis Program. In addition, this individual will be responsible for maintaining customer relationships, delivering high quality and consistent service, and selling Siemens DISW as an employer of choice!

Key deliverables include:

Sourcing Candidates: Sourcing of candidates utilizing recruitment tools, experience, and expertise. Proactively and creatively source active and passive candidates and manage a network of potential candidates in anticipation of future job openings and demand. Develop and maintain and strong recruitment strategy to attend key career fairs that align with program and hiring manager needs.

Selecting the best talent: Managing the identification and selection of candidates against job requirements.  Assessing talent to effectively narrow large candidate pools to a select number of finalists.   Collaboration and open communication with hiring managers and program managers during the interview process. Providing a best-in-class candidate experience

New Hire Experience: Create a meaningful experience for new hires by developing and hosting orientation, serve as the main HR contact for Genesis Program hires

Managing customer relationships: Maintaining client relationships and adjusting based on manager input and direct client feedback. Providing timely responses to all inquiries; internal and external. Ability to communicate program/recruiting strategy to key stakeholders in the business.

Selling Siemens DISW as an employer of choice: Representing and selling Siemens DISW to candidates and college campuses through the knowledge of the overall organization. Maintain and build relationships with key faculty, Career Services, and various student organizations on college campuses

Additional Responsibilities include:

  • Track program KPIs and communicate those results back to key stakeholders in the business
  • Support and own different project initiatives related to the UR Team
  • Ensure internal processes are completed in a thorough and timely manner, to include AAP reporting
  • Ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of recruiting experience (University Recruiting is a plus!)
  • Willing and able to travel during peak recruiting season (Fall and Spring) – (contingent on the pandemic)
    • Ability to travel to college campuses for various recruiting events (info sessions, career fairs, on-campus interviews, etc.)
  • Excellent written & verbal communication, relationship building, multi-tasking, organizational, presentation, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience establishing customer relationships and a track record of excellent customer satisfaction
  • Ability to effectively communicate recruiting strategies with key stakeholders
  • Experience with HR tools and technology - Workday, Avature, etc.
  • Strong MS Office Suites skills
