Siemens has an exciting opportunity for a Regional General Manager to join our Smart Infrastructure Regional Solutions and Services (formerly Building Technologies) team based in Sydney, NSW or Brisbane, QLD. This role will be responsible for all Smart Infrastructure solutions and services activities from sales to service across the Queensland, New South Wales, and New Zealand region.
The successful applicant will be required to deliver the branch business strategy in terms of local developments, business planning according to country parameters, establishing and leading a culture of excellence within the organisation and ensure alignment of and adherence to practices and activities with local legislation and global guidelines and processes. You will also be required to develop and execute innovative growth strategies and foster customer networks and relationships.
This is a key leadership role within the Siemens Smart Infrastructure business, and demands a leader who has a positive, energetic, motivational, and collaborative attitude. You will lead a culture of ownership, with our people and the customer at the core. You will ensure that a personnel development strategy is in place across the branch and aligned to the Siemens People Excellence Program to ensure that Siemens continues to attract, retain, and develop the best local talent.
As an experienced and respected leader within the Queensland/New South Wales marketplace it is expected that you will have local knowledge, existing networks in relevant industry sectors, and a tertiary degree in a technical, management and/or a commerce discipline. You will be able to demonstrate sales management, business development, operational experience management, leading and motivating individuals and teams while executing complex projects and service programs.
