This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Facilities and Receiving Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Planning and overseeing the daily operations of the Support Department, including Receiving, Facilities and EH&S to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.  This includes continuously improving Facility Maintenance, EH&S, and the Receiving Operation to be best in Industry, organizing and overseeing the schedules and work of assigned staff over a multi-shift operation, maintaining regular performance discussions with employees, and handling disciplinary actions as needed in accordance with Company policy.

  • You have demonstrated knowledge of Industry standard Facility Maintenance practices
  • You have knowledge and experience with labor management, engineered labor standards and managing to performance standards
  • You have experience working and collaborating with other department, such as Human Resources, Finance, Operations, and Quality to ensure successful operations
  • You have experience planning departmental budgets and monitoring of budget adherence
  • You have experience leading Capital Improvement projects
  • You have good PC skills (MS Office software – Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
  • You have strong organization skills, can multi-task, and you show a strong team orientation
  • You have strong communication skills and customer orientation

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Typically, 3-5 years of successful experience in Facilities Department Management, leading a team of maintenance professionals
  • Ability to work on-site each scheduled workday
  • Ability to communicate clearly via conversation, email, or presentations
  • Ability to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination
