About the role

Would you like to work in one of the world's largest software development companies with a best-in-class digitization portfolio?

In order to drive the digital transformation in the process industry, we need strong sales and key account development management professionals for our software solutions.

We are based either in Switzerland or Austria and are looking for a Key Account Development Manager (m / f / d) to strengthen our growing team. The current key account team consists of 8 colleagues.

As a Key Account Development Manager, your primary goal is to open up new sales opportunities in the software and process industry, especially in the Swiss market. You will focus your efforts on developing businesses in a variety of industries and sectors, including but not limited to chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and food and beverages.

Travel would be an integral part of that role.

Area of responsibility
  • You place our product portfolio (COMOS, PlantSight, XHQ, Walkinside and Bentley Open Plant) with top customers from the areas of food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, energy, etc.
  • You look after a colorful mix of existing and new customers in Switzerland
  • You create market analyzes and maintain contacts with partners from the sector in order to derive the right sales strategies
  • Together with the customer, you develop requirements for tailor-made solutions
  • Unrestricted, you can safely handle sales projects with the sales team and colleagues from the technical department
  • You feel comfortable and secure in presenting and communicating our solution portfolio at the highest company and board level
Your qualifications
  • You have proven sales experience in the software and / or process industry
  • Alternatively, you have in-depth professional experience in one of the processes, know the plant life cycle from 'A to Z' and are sales-savvy
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of the Swiss market are essential
  • On the one hand you are creative and enthusiastic, on the other hand you are result-oriented and determined
  • You are willing to learn, like a flexible working environment and act independently
  • Fluency in German and English is a prerequisite, knowledge of French and / or Italian is an advantage
