You will be a trusted advisor to the Siemens Financial Services Limited business in all aspects of compliance and external regulatory matters and effectively support operational delivery through guidance on the practical implementation of proportionate Compliance and regulatory frameworks.

As our Head of Compliance and Regulatory, you will have the ability to articulate implications of a broad range of Compliance, regulatory risk and control issues and advise on executive decision-making process concerning compliance and regulatory issues generally.


  • Ensure Compliance with relevant Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and other regulatory obligations.
  • Advise the CEO and Board on such matters as appropriate and ensure senior management is fully aware of regulatory obligations impacting business operations.
  • Front line contact for the firm's engagement with the FCA and other regulatory bodies. All aspects of non-financial regulatory reporting.  
  • Develop ongoing frameworks to meet expectations and work with senior management to implement systems and controls environments that meet requirements.
  • Functional delivery for the adaptation and continued implementation of the Siemens Compliance system within SFS particularly in relation to the Business Conduct Guidelines, Anti-Corruption, Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Trust, Data Privacy, Human Rights Compliance and Export Control.
  • Work with senior and functional management to ensure understanding of Group Compliance.
  • Internal Control and Governance programs, responsibilities are arising from there, and development of a framework within respective operational areas that demonstrate adherence to these requirements.
  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) – be the designated SMF 17 MLRO for SFS oversight for ongoing development of the AML and Financial Crime risks framework for the business.  
  • Close engagement with the SFS Internal Control Manager aligning implementation of the global Risk and Internal Control program with regulatory business and operational risk management framework.
  • Business Continuity / Operational Resilience – oversight of functional responsibility for developing and maintaining effective Incident Management and contingency plan to support business-wide operational resilience for SFS.
  • Proactive engagement in areas of proposed business development for products, services, and IT systems with engagement in evaluation of associated risks providing guidance and support on the adoption of processes and controls aligned with internal Compliance, control, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Coach and develop a small team supporting individual development to ensure the necessary knowledge, skills, and expertise within the function to meet the needs of the business and fulfill regulatory obligations.

We are looking for an experienced, innovative, and passionate Compliance and Regulatory professional with a growth mindset and the ability to work across multi businesses/partners and contacts. 

You will have exposure to applicable regulatory status - SMF/SMCR and extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements within the Finance and Leasing sectors.

Exposure and working knowledge within the B2B segment is key

As a thought leader, coach, and mentor, you will have fantastic communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees, motivate and manage on a cross-functional basis with engagement across geographical and cultural boundaries. 

The ability to influence, deliver and drive change through others and work autonomously in a time-sensitive environment is key.
