Our everyday life at Siemens Mobility revolves around trains, railways, and transport infrastructure. We are changing the world of railway transport. The significance of the transport of the future is gaining momentum; we have more new projects and continue to grow as a team - there are more than 800 of us in the Czech Republic!

What does your future team look like?
Your future team encompasses three members now. And we are looking for a new colleague, considering the growing number of employees.
You will be responsible for IT support at two Siemens Mobility locations in Prague; hence you will have a pretty varied week. That means that you would support about 50 colleagues at the Kačerov Deport three days a week and focus on activities at the headquarters in Prague-Stodůlky for the remaining two days. Here we have about 400 employees. 

What will be your new role?
Your daily tasks will include:
  • Supporting standard IT services
  • Administering mobile services (responsibility for mobile phones, support, and installation of applications)
  • Administering company printers (toners, system settings etc.)
  • Installing and administering corporate SW and HW
  • Planning and distributing IT hardware and accessories (working with internal system OneSRM, dealing with MyIT tickets etc.)
  • Stocktaking IT assets (transfers, renewals etc.)
  • Documentation of the existing IT infrastructure and processing change proposals
  • Organising introductory and standard internal IT training courses 
  • IT support of applications in business (e.g., Microsoft M365)
  • Administering a server of our branch (together with another colleague)

What do you need to possess to be a part of our team?
  • Secondary or tertiary education (ideally with a focus on IT)
  • Previous experience with IT support and services
  • Very good awareness of Microsoft 365
  • Excitement for new technologies and understanding of the current events in the IT world
  • Analytical thinking
