M&A Americas Team:
Inorganic growth is a critical element of the Siemens Healthineers strategy. The M&A Americas team, which is part of the global Strategy and M&A organization, focuses on inorganic growth of the global Siemens Healthineers portfolio by executing M&A deals for all Siemens Healthineers businesses areas.
Siemens Healthineers is hiring a key individual for the M&A Americas team focused on the execution of M&A transactions. This person will report to the Head of M&A Americas. This is an individual contributor role at the Director level. The preferred location for the position is Tarrytown, NY which is commutable by public transportation from NYC.
Role and Responsibilities:
Lead M&A transaction (acquisitions, divestments or joint ventures) evaluation and execution, and support integration with the acquiring/divesting business units.
Produce financial and strategic assessments of acquisition and divestiture targets, perform valuation analysis and generate financial and valuation models.
Lead in business plan analysis, financial and business due diligence, and project management.
Formulate proposals for transaction terms and be responsible for negotiating transactions.
Lead cross functional, collaborative, work stream execution efforts, with both local and global business executives at all levels of seniority.
Produce work product in the form of presentations, spreadsheets, information memoranda, term sheets, etc.
Maintain transaction information in the Company’s databases.
Skills and Experience Required:
BA/BA in business related field (Accounting, Finance or Economics). MBA preferred.
At least 5-7 years of work experience in broad project management, strategy projects, M&A execution, in a large, corporate or institutional setting, is strongly preferred.
Excellent transaction analysis, financial modeling and quantitative skills are required.
Experience in transaction project management and due diligence is required.
Ability to take on several projects in parallel is required.
Must have excellent top-management communication and interpersonal skills, ability to lead and work well with teams, and potential to develop internal client relationships.
Must be proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
