This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As an IT SCM Solution Architect – Supply chain & Logistics, you will be responsible for:

  • You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement of the Reagent Manufacturing & Logistics processes in SAP and other tools
  • You will synchronize end-to-end Reagent Manufacturing & Logistics to improve product flow through the supply chain with a focus on optimization of value-added processes and visual management enabled by data analytics
  • You will align Reagent Manufacturing & Logistics approaches by partnering with both technical and business stakeholders / partners
  • You will advise the Reagents Manufacturing & Logistics subject matter expert communities, promoting learning to build SAP bench strength
  • You will support supply chain initiatives by partnering with both technical and business stakeholders / partners
  • You will support requirement engineering, documentation, testing, training, go live planning, on-going support & issue resolution

  • You should have SAP expertise to support Reagent Manufacturing & Logistics improvements across all supply chain functions: Formulation, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Warehouse Management, Logistics, and Transportation
  • Work with business process owners to assess and recommend improvements in processes and technology
  • Continuous improvement approach to SAP business processes leveraging value stream mapping and other lean methods
  • Practical understanding of how to design and implement solutions to support Reagent Manufacturing & Logistics on a global scale

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • You will require general knowledge of the core business processes across the Supply Chain (Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics, and Transportation)
  • Operational experience in Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics, and Transportation or related function preferred
  • You will have deep professional know-how and experience in solution design / change management process for SAP
  • Working knowledge of current business applications (e.g. SAP PP/PI, IM, MM, WM, QM, SD, Solution Manager)
  • Experience with Continuous improvement methods (E.g. Value Stream Mapping, Structured Problem Solving)
  • You have excellent cross-functional communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) focused on translation of IT to business and business to IT
  • You are able and willing to explore and evaluate new technical solutions for business use case application
  • You work effectively in global, multi-cultural teams
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience within SAP, Manufacturing, Logistics, Transportation, and/or Business Analyst role(s)
  • Willing to travel when necessary up to 10%
