About this role

Do you want to work in one of the world’s largest software development organizations with a market leading digitalization portfolio?

To drive digital transformation in the process industry, we need strong sales and key account management professionals for our software solutions.

Based in either Switzerland or Austria, we are looking to hire a Key Account Manager to join our growing team; the current key account team consists of 8 colleagues.

As Key Account Manager, your primary objective will be to develop new world-wide sales opportunities exclusively in the Pharma sector.

Travel would be an integral part of this role. You will be required to travel to locations where large Pharma organisations are located.

Area of responsibility
  • You place our product portfolio (COMOS, PlantSight, XHQ, Walkinside and Bentley Open Plant) with top Pharma customers
  • You look after a colourful mix of existing and new customers worldwide
  • You create market analyses and maintain contacts with partners from the industry environment to derive the most appropriate sales strategies
  • Together with the customers, you will develop requirements for tailor-made solutions
  • Internally, you can safely handle the sales projects with the sales team and colleagues from technology
  • You will feel particularly comfortable presenting and communicating our solution portfolio at the highest business and board levels
Your talent and experience
  • You have demonstrable cross-border/ international sales experience gained within the software and/ or process industry
  • Alternatively, you have a sound professional experience in one of the processes, know the plant life cycle from 'A to Z' and have an affinity for sales
  • You are creative and enthusiastic on the one hand, and result-oriented and determined on the other hand
  • You are willing to learn, like a flexible working environment and act independently
  • Fluent German and English skills are a prerequisite, French and/or Italian skills are an advantage.
