Senior Commercial Project Manager - Rail Infrastructure

Siemens Mobility Italy is looking for a Senior Commercial Project Manager, for its premises in Milan.  He/she will be responsible for the full life cycle project controlling, including cost, cashflow, forecast and improvement possibilities.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Order processing and project control ensuring accuracy of project books and records according to Siemens FRG, IFRS and local GAAP.
  • Management of the commercial conditions of contracts, bank guarantee, insurance, invoicing, cash collection, hedging, etc.
  • Identify, Evaluate and Assess Risks and Opportunities for Profit Improvement management
  • Monitor purchase orders and payment to vendors.
  • Preparation and analysis of project costs, cash flow, forecasts and other project reports.
  • Ensures, implements and manages standard policies, processes and procedures and compliance with the applicable guidelines.
  • Ensures to act according to the Business Conduct Guidelines and establishes a culture of trust and integrity.
  • Actively communicates with customer's financial representatives and manages solving of Finance issues.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Consistent professional work experience as a finance professional supporting project business (at least 5 years), preferably in mobility business
  • Strong experience with government customers and knowledge of Italian code of tender
  • Experience in handling BA tools (e.g. SAP, Dash, GREAT, EPIQ)
  • Strong analytical skills, risk management and ability to proactively propose improving contracts profitability
  • Able to interact, creating a good environment, collaboration, teamwork and communicate effectively with people at all levels and cultures.    
  • English fluent, German would be a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or Accounting
