What are your main responsibilities? 
  • Co-define the strategic direction of Mendix in the Manufacturing Industries space (including analyses and measures for focus industries and domains, low code growth pockets, market and competitors)
  • Own and develop the strategic relationship between a select number of internal Siemens units and Mendix, helping Siemens transform to a SaaS company, whilst keeping line of sight to more external Mendix business
  • Evangelize the new adaptive software paradigm within Siemens, identify and develop the most promising internal partnerships and engagement that lead to a win-win
  • Support special strategic projects such as M&A, benchmarking, management presentations

What makes you successful in this role? 
  • Highly analytical problem-solver, strong communication skills to get concepts and ideas across to business executives
  • Minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience in Portfolio Development, Management Consulting, Sales or Business Development in the Software arena
  • Experience in navigating complex corporate companies such as Siemens, and getting things done in a collaborative manner across multiple geographies and organizations
  • Balance between curiosity to dive deep selectively, and putting on the big picture lens
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English, additional languages are a plus (e.g., German, Chinese, Italian…)
  • Self-starter and team player
  • Ability to travel as needed (25% globally)
