We are looking for a high performing, high potential, digitally savvy professional to be a part of our Finance Team  in Industrial Products Business at Siemens Energy. The role is primarily that of assisting the Industrial Products  Management team drive strategic initiatives to drive growth and resilience. In addition, the candidate is expected to  drive identified specific topics to support business growth, asset management and internal optimization projects. 

Some of the specific elements include: 

?       Cost Optimization: Identifying cost optimization measures in line with Business Strategic imperatives and  driving  implementation  in  coordination  with  cross-functional  team  including  Project  management,  Procurement, Sales etc. 

?       Digitalization and Process optimization: Drive digitalization initiatives to drive financial insights and drive  operational efficiencies 

?       Strategic Procurement: Working closely with procurement team to design and drive excellence measures  in strategic procurement  

?       Driving  initiatives  for  Organizational  Growth  and  Resilience:  Work  in  close  co-ordination  with  Management to identify measures for long term growth and resilience – and drive implementation in  coordination with multiple departments/ functions and other relevant internal/ external stakeholders 

?       Collaborating with Business Controlling and other functions in driving Business Plans and Forecasts 

?       Deliver high quality monthly and ad hoc executive information pack capturing most important data points 

to support decision making 

?       Assessing market trends and competition: Regular monitoring and tracking Market developments and 

working closely with Sales Team to design and implement strategies to aid market growth

The role demands curiosity, business acumen, analytical skills, digital mindset, learning agility, influencing skills,  executive communication and stakeholder management.

a)       CA or equivalent professional qualification with 8-10 years of post-qualification experience  .

b)       Experience in Energy sector is a preference  .

c)        General Competencies - Reliable and responsible, Proactive, Result orientation 

d)       Leadership competency -Manage difficult/complex topics 


e)       Strong critical thinking, problem solving and efficient communication skills, initiative, proactivity and team  player 

f)        Good knowledge of SAP system and proficiency in MS Excel & Office
