Our Master Data Management (MDM) created by Stibo Systems is the pivotal tool we use for the retrieval of relevant product information for the various building technology sales channels. Given the advance of digitalisation, the demands placed on technical product data have increased sharply in recent years. To meet this requirement we intend to strengthen our Technical Documentation team by a person experienced in the MDM field. When filling this role, the successful candidate will be the central contact point for a range of interest groups and provide significant assistance during the implementation of product and market requirements.

Your new responsibilities

  • Assistance for and development of strategies and concepts in the area of technical data structures and data models
  • Accountable for the implementation of consistent and future-oriented data modelling complying with defined standards (e.g. BIM, ETIM, eCl@ss)
  • Extension of the classifications for product information management in line with the relevant standards and product portfolio requirements
  • Harmonisation and data correction in the fields of product classes, geometries and product attributes
  • Ensuring the compatibility and quality of technical and geometric product data
  • Inception of quality enhancements and extension of processes and data outputs to a variety of sales channels
  • Assistance to a range of interest groups (e.g. technical documentation, sales, product management, IT etc.) during the adoption of new standards and requirements
  • Assistance for and training of STEP/MDM key users worldwide
  • Liaison with external service-providers during operational implementation
  • Cost and quality control in the projects allocated to you

Your skills and experience

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business informatics or a related course of study
  • Your in-depth knowledge in the field of master data management also includes familiarity with product information systems (e.g. Stibo’s STEP)
  • You stand out from those around you by your practical experience of project-orientated data-base applications in the areas of MDM and PIM
  • Experience of standardised product data classification (e.g. BIM, ETIM, eCl@ss) is an advantage
  • You are knowledgeable in markup languages such as XML, HTML and XML transformations
  • Experience with industrial products, ideally in the field of building services engineering
  • You are a self-starter and your analytical skills and extensive experience in agile project management help you to drive new initiatives forward
  • You are a communicative personality and willing to take the initiative with a team-oriented, structured way of working and a sound ability to assert yourself
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken German and English
