Job Description

Due to the growth of our operations, Siemens Global Business Services is looking for experienced Business Analyst to join our Warsaw office. The Business Analyst will own the BI domain, focusing on extracting, managing, and visualizing large datasets and help internal and external customers within the organization to make correct business decisions.

The candidate knows and enjoys working with business intelligence tools (excel, visualization tools, and SQL), can model multidimensional datasets, and can partner with business leaders. Ideal candidate should be analytical, organized, and creative also willing to work on regional projects on occasional basis.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Drive Business Intelligence agenda for the Customer Services Center
  • Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analysis, dashboards, to drive key business decisions
  • Make recommendations for new metrics, techniques, and strategies
  • Define the data elements and data structure that our team should leverage to enable analytical and reporting capabilities to drive operations and efficiency effort
  • Preparing and delivering business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks
  • Work with GBS partners and the data warehouse to enable the appropriate capture and storage of key data points
  • Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into an actionable format
  • Participate in strategic & tactical planning discussions
  • Support technology projects like Case Management
  • Promote the BI culture among operational teams by delivering trainings, consultative sessions and overall awareness about data

 
What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • 3-5 years of experience in Data Analyst role
  • Working  knowledge of Excel (advanced), SQL, visualization tools
  • Experience in working with senior stakeholders
  • Fluent spoken and written English
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and under time pressure
  • and creativity
  • Open-minded and constructive attitude to performed tasks
