What will you do?

  • Be an active member of an international team of Cybersecurity Professionals supporting Siemens’ Service and Governance Units regarding Cybersecurity.
  • Help to manage Cybersecurity risks including protection of critical business information, assets, and IT Systems.
  • Perform regular assessments as part of audits, risk management or as stand-alone activities.
  • Protect data assets by identifying and prioritizing information security risks in the organization and providing the appropriate security requirements to mitigate the risks.
  • Report on the Cybersecurity status and current threat landscape towards Senior Management and organize relevant awareness measures.
  • Consult concerning Cybersecurity in projects and day-to-day activities.
  • Make sure that corporate Cybersecurity regulations, tools and processes are timely and properly implemented and followed (such as Vulnerability Management, Incident Handling and Exception Handling).
  • Provide tactical and strategic direction and guidance to achieve acceptable security postures.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, procedures and stipulations regarding IT/OT security (internal/external/legal).
  • Ensure adequate Cybersecurity education and awareness of users of respective IT applications, solutions, and infrastructure.
  • Drive continuous improvement of IT/OT security.
  • Serve as a liaison between corporate Cybersecurity and the business entities.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or similar.
  • More than 5 years of practical experience in the field of Cybersecurity. Preferably as Information Security Officer or similar.
  • Certifications CISSP, CISM, GSEC, GSNA, CISA or profound knowledge on common Cybersecurity standards such as ISO 27001 or NIST.
  • Expert knowledge in most of the following domains: Supplier/ IT provider, contract management, Security Architecture, Cloud Security, Zero Trust, Risk Management, Vulnerability Management, Product and Solution Security or similar as well as Data Privacy.
  • Solid technical and hands-on knowledge, experience in current attack methods, detection strategies, vulnerability management, and risk management.
  • Solid understanding of secure networking technologies and design principles. (Network segmentation, Firewall management, NAC, IDS/IPS, SIEM)
  • Excellent communication skills and especially competence in translating security topics into business language.
  • Ability to build networks and communication channels across all levels of the organization.
  • Service-orientated mindset (ITIL).
  • A professional level of English is required. French is a plus.
