What will you do?

  • Manage and own customer orders from order receipt to shipment for basic or intermediate product group(s)
  • Contract review of customer orders and ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Negotiate with leaders, supervisors, capacity planners and buyers to support Customer’s request and/or standard delivery reliability
  • Monitor and maintain daily Orders Received/Orders Backlog reports
  • Validation that material availability is present to support orders
  • Monitor, maintain and advise exceptions for capacity plans for manufacturing OR suppliers
  • Expedite and de-expedite orders through the supply chain
  • Provide pertinent information to staff and customers related to orders including coordination of deliveries, availability of products and status of order.
  • Facilitate freight, special packaging quotations and verify special pricing, discounts, and Inco term accuracy.
  • Discount and special price verification and accurate currency translations.
  • Pursue additional information from customers to ship orders
  • Liaison with PVC (Product Variant Configuration Centre) and Customer, ensuring Customer’s requirements are met
  • Support delivery KPI’s and quick ship programs. Using escalation process when necessary
  • Provide support for risk assessment approval process with Head Quarters
  • Maintain ISO procedures for Customer Master Maintenance and Customer Order Management.

What will you need to succeed?

  • College Diploma in Business Administration or related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience within an order management environment
  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of products, Inco terms and pricing structures for various regions, an asset
  • Knowledge of product family relationships and the item master structure, an asset
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing process.
  • Understanding of the requirements of various terms and methods of payment such as a Down Payment and the impact on scheduled shipment dates.
  • Advanced analytical skills and fine attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle stress, meet deadlines, multitask, set priorities, and hold customers, suppliers, and teams accountable
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excell (VLookup, pivot table), Outlook and Adobe
  • Basic experience with SAP or another ERP package including understanding master data
  • Team Player with excellent interpersonal, entrepreneurial, and intermediate problem-solving skills
