What you will do for Russelectric:

As a Project Specialist with the world’s most respected manufacturer of automatic transfer switches and power control systems, your role is critical in driving customer satisfaction from order acceptance through receipt of payment. You will work to ensure that orders are executed with excellence and that customer experience is nothing short of stellar.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs order management mainly through SAP reports for assigned customers, from order acceptance to invoice.
  • Effectively communicates expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Manages and files clients' information in SAP and other information systems.
  • Supports customers remotely, providing first-level user support in case of arising issues.
  • When required, maintains the relationship with clients and sales representatives to clarify orders and issues.
  • Tracks order milestones and deliverables to ensure successful and timely delivery of orders based on agreed upon contract terms
  • Coordinates the resolution of customer requests and questions with respectively qualified Field Service Engineers or Project Engineers.
  • Participates in investigating and resolving commercial problems.
  • When required, assists with coordination of resolution of issues with materials procurement, Engineering and Field Service resources, coordination of deliveries to customer site and startup with Field Service team
  • Assists with routine administrative responsibilities on an order.
  • Selects appropriate processes from clearly documented rules, past practices, or instruction.

Qualifications:

  • This position requires employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption
  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED required; Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred
  • Ability to travel 10%
  • 2+ years of experience in order management is required
  • Expertise in the energy/critical power industry is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
  • Experience with SAP is preferred
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Interpersonal skills and influencing people are important requirements in the job
  • Experience with customer-facing and/or customer relationship management is preferred
  • Critical thinking and ownership in bringing successful resolution to cross-functional problems
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in complex/matrix organizations with multiple responsibilities and drivers desired
  • Experience in applying methods or procedures which generally are well defined and straightforward, but with occasional deviations
