Technical and Administrative Support for Rolling Stock Authorisations

What does your future team look like?

In the Czech Republic, we are building a new Regulatory Affairs team responsible for authorising the rolling stock from the Siemens Mobility portfolio for the operations on target lines. Right now, our team in the Czech Republic has four members, but we keep growing. Similarly, we are expanding our competencies in close cooperation with colleagues from Germany (where they have four Regulatory Affairs teams with many years of experience).


What will be your responsibilities?
The administrative support of the rolling stock authorisation process across the Regulatory Affairs teams includes in particular: 
  • Preparation of documents (MS Word, Excel) 
  • Document administration (SAP) 
  • Request administration (IBM DOORS) 
  • Updates of records in external applications and databases (ERA One stop shop, ERADIS, ERATV) 
  • Administration of various lists and reports, e.g., certificate expiries, current authorisation status with individual rolling stock types etc. 

What do you need to possess to be a part of our team?
  • Secondary education 
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel 
  • You can communicate both in English and in German (daily email and phone communication, work with documents in a foreign language) 
  • Professional experience with work in a larger international company (primarily with communication across departments and branches regarding cultural differences, working with diverse tools, following internal processes etc.) 

What extras will we appreciate? 
  • Knowledge of SW tools IBM DOORS, SAP, MS teams, MS share point, MS one note, MS power point 
  • Positive attitude to technical equipment, especially railway transport
