Marketing Communications Manager (Nanjing)

Job Description


We are looking for the people, as the role of MarCom (Marketing&Communications) manager who with knowledge and skills, responsible for MC Digitalization Enterprise&Experience Center in China. This MarCom manager need to understand Siemens Digitalization concept, to support internal and external business partners to realize the business. The working location is in Nanjing, China.

What are my responsibilities? 

• Real & Virtual show case definition and updating for existing DE2X.
• Storyline & content development, updating and maintenance incl. content management system.
• Alignment with Siemens / DI global and local China strategy for marketing and communications.
• Communications among internal/ external, domestic/ international, to support the business realization for digitalization.
• Global communications storyline for Digital Factory SNC.
• Coordination with HQ CM&MK.
• Support the DE2X as Tour Guides, to present Siemens digitalization concept.
• Clearly understand business requirement and transfer into smooth and effective communication measure. Develop activities based on DE2X concept and implement with clearly defined KPIs.
• Measure and report performance of digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
• Coordination of local media activities 
• Work closely with product manager and system marketing manager for showroom updating.

Working Partners/Contacts:
• Internal: HQ CM&MK, Product management, Marketing & Promotion, Vertical BD in Germany and China, sales Regions, regional BD including China, SNC RD…
• External: Event agencies, Publisher, Press, …

What do I need to qualify for this job?

Education and background:
• Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Computer Science, Economics, Communications, Media, Marketing, International trade or similar.
• Around 3 years of experience in a variety of operative and strategic tasks in event industry or relevant company position. 

Knowledge/ Experience:
• Strong project management skills, experience in working in virtual team across functions.
• Proven experience in marketing and / or communications together with the potential and attitude required to learn.
• Proven experience in developing and managing online and social media campaigns SEO/SEM (Search engine optimization & marketing).
• Solid knowledge in online communications (e.g. websites, website analytics and tools) and strong motivation to learn the relevant Siemens online and social media tools.
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and with marketing and communications measurement
• Experience in planning and realizing of customer projects (e.g. trade fairs, events)

• Cooperative, good sense of teamwork with multi-task capability.
• Working attitude with passion.
• Strong sense of responsibility, result orientation and can work under pressure.
• Strong willingness and dedication of learning, self-development, self-motivation and positive attitude.
• Professional ethics, identify with Siemens values.
• Interested in technology
• Good practice of English & Chinese in listening, speaking, reading and writing. German is a plus.
