This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As an Lean Continuous Improvement Leader, you will be responsible for:

Lead the Lean Continuous Improvement program for the Supply Chain, QA/QC and Fac/Eng. Departments to deliver improved results in Cost, Quality and Customer Service

  • Facilitating workshops and events to identify improvements and developing action plans to improve workflow and make processes more effective and efficient
  • Improve visual management and KPI reporting systems to improve reaction time and effective management of results areas.
  • Use Lean and six sigma methods such as Structured Problem Solving or VSM to lead groups through analysis and improvement planning.
  • Lead projects to improve administrative and transaction-based processes.
  • Build skills and capabilities of others in Lean methods and Productivity

  • Can lead teams using Lean/Six Sigma improvement methods & facilitate workshops/ events.
  • Analyzing administrative and transaction-based processes to identify sources of waste and productivity improvements
  • Have an understanding and experience with supply chain planning, material mgmt., quality control and production processes.
  • Have project and program management skills.
  • Can analyze data and identify improvement areas and approaches through lean methods, statistical analysis or Six Sigma techniques.
  • Can develop and lead performance and reporting mgmt. system for teams and with leadership.

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • Lean or Black Belt Six Sigma experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain/Logistic/Material Mgmt. or Industrial, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in improving supply chain, quality or manufacturing environment
  • Willing to travel up to 10% to vendor or other plant sites
