In our unit IoT & Platform Services we are looking for a highly motivated manager and coach of the international Data Center Services (DC) team with around 16 people in 4 countries.

As the head of IT IPS SEO DC, you lead a team that is responsible for:

  • Design-, development and description of managed IT Services provided by external suppliers including requirements specifications covering all relevant aspects (technical, organizational, quality, legal, security
  • Responsible for contractually purchased IT service portfolio with E2E service ownerships contract-, quality, provider, and stakeholder management
  • Close collaboration and proactive communication with service stakeholders like customers, architects, and suppliers/partners ensuring reliable and secure IT service delivery with high customer satisfaction

Supporting the digitization of Siemens businesses and Siemens’ platform strategy with valuable & scalable IT services purchased on the market is just as much a part of your challenges as creating high value-add and customer satisfaction with a world-class End-2-End Service Management orchestrating these services.

Using your expertise, you will be responsible for:

  • Functional & Disciplinary management of the international team „Data Center Services “ with around 16 service- architects & managers
  • Design-, development and specify IT Services / IT Service Portfolio to be purchased by external IT service providers
  • Ensuring contractually guaranteed service delivery by the supplier
  • Taking appropriate measures to ensure service quality and continuous service improvement with E2E service ownerships
  • Setting the customers into focus creating high service value and high customer satisfaction
  • Supplier/Partner Management and Customer Communication
  • Motivating & Coachingof employees incl. competence management

What you need to make real what matters.

  • University Degree ( Master ) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration or similar quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
  • You have more than 5 years of experience in managing international IT teams (ideally IT service Design/IT service management).
  • You are known as a digital leader who knows how to drive a highly motivated team
  • With a positive and constructive approach, you make sure your teams develop themselves. You help them to see the details without losing the bigger picture
  • Even if your approach is also hands-on, your strategical mindset and helicopter view are helping you to work in a proactive way and to anticipate.
  • As you lead by example, your communication style, your own work discipline, and your capacity to getting things done are impeccable
  • Customers and colleagues adore you as you really understand their needs
  • Experience in IT service operations is an asset
  • Experience within Cloud, IoT- & Platform service environments is an asset
  • You have a good practical knowledge of German and English
