Then come and join our global team as Senior System Engineer (m/f/d) Laboratory Automation IT to be responsible for the successful installation of laboratory diagnostics systems and for instructing the local customer service engineers (CSEs).

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the successful implementation of laboratory diagnostics IT systems within the predefined time frame, without compromising on quality
  • During the implementation phase of our projects, the CS SI EMEA Automation IT Specialist will provide remote or onsite installation/ configuration support within the EMEA region
  • You deliver standardized service trainings for Siemens Healthineers IT product in English language for international customer service engineers or any other appropriate target groups
  • You act as a technical project manager supporting the local project manager in all aspects of implementation
  • You will coordinate IT & Automation implementation activities in the EMEA region and you support with proactive measures for “best practice” knowledge sharing, management of mandatory performance and safety updates, implementation modifications (customizations), etc.
  • You will instruct the local customer service engineers (CSEs) involved in your projects, passing on your knowledge during implementation and providing support to colleagues on site
  • You will support the local project manager in all aspects of implementation
  • You will be responsible for handing over your assigned projects to the local service organization in accordance with defined processes
  • You will be responsible for handling all your own travel-related administrative tasks and processes (e.g. travel applications, service reports)

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You hold a Bachelor or master’s degree in Informatics, Biomedical or any other comparable technical education
  • You have several years working experience in the in-vitro Diagnostics industry, experience with Siemens Healthineers Diagnostics/ IT and Inpeco Automation is an advantage
  • You have an excellent understanding of the laboratory workflow and in-vitro healthcare diagnostics in general
  • You have excellent skills on Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office. Experience with Linux in general and Red Hat is an advantage

  • With your strong interpersonal skills and talent for communication, you are at ease collaborating with customers and colleagues at all levels. Your organizational ability enables you to always maintain an overview in complex situations
  • You are keen to travel 50% of your time and can adapt easily to different cultures when working on international projects
  • You have outstanding analytical skills combined with knowledge of proven problem-solving techniques, and have a passion for resolving technical problems promptly and professionally
  • You can support international projects using your very good English language skills. Proficiency in other languages would be advantageous
