Warehouse Worker (2nd) Shift Team Leader

Job Description

Siemens Logistics LLC is currently seeking a 2nd Shift Team Lead for our WareHouse / Material Coordinators team..  You will lead a team in performing a range of manufacturing activities in an industrial environment.  You will ensure work is performed safely and efficiently and assure that products meet quality standards.  The preferred candidate will have at least three (3) years of work experience in the following areas of responsibilities.

• Lead team members in safely achieving daily production requirements and maintaining quality standards.
• Working lead capable of performing all tasks in area of responsibility.
• Coordinate with other shift and areas to ensure efficient flow of material and productive utilization of resources.
• Maintain records as required.
• Train and ensure adherence to JHA’s and support all other EH&S requirements.
• Ensure team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements.
• Actively participate in 5S and other continuous improvement activities.
• Monitor time and attendance and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Provide product expertise within team, and respond to operator queries.
• Perform transition activities between shifts and shutdown activities at shift end.

• Associate’s degree or 2+ years of vocational technical training preferred.
• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Specialized skill training/certification may be required.
• Previous experience in Supervisory or Team Lead role, preferred
• Previous experience working with SAP, preferred
• Demonstrates comprehensive working knowledge of a technical or specialty area, and of operations, methods, and practices.
• Generally, 5+ years of successful experience in area of responsibility and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
