Siemens Industry Software Hungary is part of Siemens Digital Industries and specializes in high-quality software development for the automotive and aeronautics industry.

The Scrum Team, which the candidate will join, is developing a single product: A market leader network design application targeting the automotive industry. We have been working closely together with prominent automobile manufactures around the world providing them with new features and supporting their workflow for 10+ years. We are real practitioners of agile software and product development methods, continuously improving ourselves and our processes focusing on continuously delivering real value to our customers while taking quality assurance very seriously (automated testing, continuous integration, etc.).

Join our team as “Software Architect (m/f/d)” from any of our Siemens offices in Hungary. We also consider a mix between working from home and meeting with the team in the office.

You’ll help our customers drive digital innovation by

  • Maintain and design optimal product architecture to implement features without serious refactoring and delays
  • Create and maintain architectural design and concepts with related functional requirements about components, their roles and interfaces
  • Develop and communicate architecture vision, intent and roadmap
  • Ensure that projects meet the technical requirements of the customer
  • Steer architecture decisions, support risk mitigation and issue resolution
  • Define non-functional requirements related to reliability, performance, maintainability, scalability and usability
  • Contribute to OEM requirement analysis and mapping to product requirements
  • Support new strategies and long term planning
  • Define and drive Enablers to cover the needs of the architecture development, research, prototyping, infrastructure and compliance
  • Manage trade-offs between functionality and sustainability (considering cost and risk as well)
  • Coordinate between Technical Leaders in architecture related topics
  • Ensure that technology decisions work end-to-end across components in the product
  • Establish architecture guidelines

What do you need to realize what matters?

  • Bsc/Msc in informatics, electronics, computer science or equivalent
  • Experience in Embedded Systems
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Automotive development experience
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR standard
  • Development experience in ISO9001, Automotive SPICE, ISO26262 certified systems or equivalent
  • Team player
  • Fluency in English
