Title: Senior Financial Analyst – Performance Controlling

Position Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key contributor to the dynamic North America Performance Controlling team. The role reports to the Senior Director, Finance (Management Reporting, Planning & Analytics) and will support the company’s strategy by providing Management with financial data and insights to assist on business decisions. This role will also have opportunity to drive digitalization competence and initiatives within the North America Finance community.

Responsibilities
  • Specific responsibilities include the following:
  • Design and implement integrated management reporting to support business decision making, supplement internal financial data with operational and external data 
  • Direct support to CFO and finance leadership team on executive presentations 
  • Support North America Performance Dialogue process by providing overview on company’s financial performance and key business data on Business Area/Business Vertical 
  • Subject matter expert of Incentive Target achievement reporting and analysis
  • Collaborate with Business Area/Business Line controllers to develop sales flash commentaries during the closing process
  • Perform critical analysis and review on P&L actual performance and forecast changes, and identify actions/measures needed to achieve business targets 
  • Lead and document Annual Company Valuation process (5-year plan)
  • Power user of the financial planning tool (Jedox) and support internal training to Finance community
  • Drive integrated on-demand reporting and dashboarding in Jedox tool, embed advanced visualization techniques and analytics into reports
  • Lead digitalization competence development and initiatives within Performance Controlling team and best practice sharing with North America finance community
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related discipline required. MBA is a plus
  • In-depth know-how and experience in Management reporting and various types of financial analysis (7+ years) 
  • Demonstrated analytical skills including the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint/think-cell
  • Experience with business intelligence tools, automation, and digitalization
  • Understanding of strategic business goals
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Innovative thinking to develop automated solutions to increase productivity and efficiency 
  • Effective collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills; excellent professional judgment and problem-solving skills
