Our Siemens Healthineers Stroke mission is to get as many patients to treatment as fast as possible. We aim to drastically reduce time to treatment through an integrated & digitalized clinical decision support across the entire acute stroke patient pathway. Several novel stroke products & services are currently under development in our Computed Tomography, Advanced Therapy, Digital Health & Enterprise Services Business Entities.

In close collaboration with globally leading Stroke Networks, comprising of differently sized hospitals, ambulance & telemedicine services, our contributing internal entities, and further industry partners, we intend to co-create, shape, pilot and validate our future stroke offerings. Ultimately, we measure our success by improved patient outcome, time & cost saving, proven in clinical studies capable to change clinical practice, guidelines & reimbursements.

This position can be filled either full-time or part-time (min. 30h/week).

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Building on day-to-day alignments with the Siemens Healthineers Stroke expert community, you will become the main communication interface between selected pilot customers & Siemens Healthineers from collaboration initialization, supporting customers in budget sourcing, clarification & matching customer needs with internal offering capabilities, up to facilitating negotiation of collaboration & commercial contracts
  • By gathering & organizing an advisory community of key opinion leaders in stroke, which explicitly adds neurologists, ambulance services, stroke societies and insurers to our current reach into diagnostic and interventional radiology, you further build up our market knowledge and our customer funnel
  • With the ultimate goal to translate the clinical benefit created with our offerings into economic viability for both customers and us, you co-design, -organize and -oversee usability, workflow and economic feasibility studies, as well as investigator-sponsored clinical studies together with our pilot customers, i.e. clinical stroke opinion leaders
  • After having built a deep understanding of stroke customer needs, you develop & tailor offering packages, comprising of hardware, software, consulting, and operation services in close cooperation with sales, product management, and marketing. By training & supporting our global stroke sales ambassador community, you act as a multiplicator for future deals

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have successfully finished your studies in medicine or a related field (e.g. medical engineering, health economics) with proven business understanding (e.g. through an MBA or other economic training)
  • You have many years business experience in developing new clinical solutions in close interaction with Key Opinion Leaders, e.g. in healthcare consulting, collaboration or product management
  • You have very good knowledge of the current practice & challenges in acute stroke diagnosis & treatment
  • You also have a good understanding of modern stroke related decision support technologies knowledge like imaging (esp. Computed Tomography), telemedicine, ambulance procedures

Your attributes and skills:

  • You have excellent English language skills; German would be a plus
  • Your empathic, honest, and loyal communication style lets you easily interact on par with all hierarchy levels at customers, partners and internal representatives in R&D, product management and marketing – both virtually and face-to-face
  • You bring a distinct “sense of business”, grounded through practiced methodologies like health economic studies, business modeling or bid management of large complex projects
  • You are comfortable working in a start-up environment with lose reporting lines, blurry delineation of responsibilities and fast changing environments, but a collaborative team spirit and common strive for purpose: To pioneer breakthroughs in stroke
  • This position includes business travel (approx. 20 percent) and in consultation with your manager, it is possible to work on a mobile basis (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60 percent of the respective working hours
