Head of Finance for Smart Infrastructure, Distribution Systems

Job description / responsibilities:
  • Drive and grow the SI DS Business in Indonesia as Head of Finance.
  • Contribute to define and ensure the implementation of the growth strategy in Indonesia for the assigned SI business.
  • Develop the Finance team in terms of capabilities and capacities to ensure successful business.
  • Lead and guide the assigned Finance team
  • Ensure compliance and correctness of finance related processes and activities, especially in books & records
  • Collaborate in the preparation of complex bids or tenders for the business.
  • Responsible for the SI DS P&L together with the Business CEO
  • Develop and implement financial and business administration policies, standards and procedures, for the assigned organization unit. 
  • Ensure effective financial analysis, planning and controlling activities, and all related business administration activities
  • Take decisions on treasury management, optimized capital financing structure and tax compliance management, together with the e.g. internal central functions or other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliant and standardized contract management in all relevant business cases (supplier, customer, service providers, etc)
  • Develop and drive Digitalization in Finance, with use cases applied and support collaboration on digitalization efforts
  • Ensure profitable growth by flawlessly executing projects, reduce / effectively manage NCCs, drive productivity initiatives, and implement a successful claim/risk management.
  • Contribute to define and ensure correct set up of value chain which ensures competitiveness and use cross-country synergies, where relevant.

  • >10 years of finance management & leadership experience, preferably in energy-related businesses.
  • Strong financial & strategic skills and experience in being responsible for P&L.
  • Bachelor of Business degree, or comparable.
  • Strong Finance acumen background, ideally paired with sound project management controlling skills or, if from a system business background, experiences in system business controlling management.
  • Experience in a manufacturing (controlling) environment will be of added advantage.
