Responsibilities
Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications.
Develop high-level architecture specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility. Evaluate the efforts for implementation.
Define and document all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
Communicate all concepts and guidelines to development team
Prepare and present an easy-to-understand architecture report for supervisors
Use a proactive approach to common challenges and by continually researching best practices

Qualifications
Proven experience as software architect
Experience in software development and coding in various languages (C#, .NET, Java etc.)
Experience in one or more of JS frameworks (Angular, React..)
Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
Excellent knowledge of UML and other modeling methods
Outstanding communication and presentation abilities in both Chinese and English 
Bachelor or Master of Science degree in computer science, engineering or relevant field

Team summary
Production Digitalization and Optimization research group belongs to Simulation & Digital Twin technology field. We focus on fast modeling & assessment, digital-physical linked operation optimization, semantic modeling, and co-simulation.
For simulation and optimization service, mature methodology is established based on the experience of successful digitalization consulting projects in equipment manufacturing, machining, electronic assembly, etc.
Leveraging domain knowledge, we jointly define production semantic model within Siemens, and implement industrial applications upon it.
A micro-service based workshop digitalization toolkit for brownfield customer is formed iteratively. By selecting and combining different micro-services, we can provide customized digital upgrading solutions for our customers.
生产数字化与优化研发部,隶属于西门子仿真与数字孪生技术领域。主要研究的方向包含快速建模与仿真,虚实结合的运营优化,基于语义的数字孪生建模,生产管理与数字孪生微服务。
在生产仿真优化和企业数字化评估方向,我们拥有成熟的方法论和咨询项目执行经验,在装备制造、机械加工、电子装配、食品饮料等领域有多个成功案例。
在工业知识图谱应用方向,结合自身的领域知识,参与制定西门子工业知识图谱的离散制造业标准语义模型,并成功应用到新能源汽车等行业。
在车间数字化升级方向,通过大量项目,迭代完善了基于微服务的生产数字化升级套件。通过灵活组合多个微服务,可以为企业量身定制数字化升级解决方案。
