Siemens Large Drives Applications is looking to hire a Cybersecurity Consultant for our UK Digital Services Hub.  This appointee will actively work within UK, EMEA and other regions consulting on Industrial Security Services and support with cyber security consulting for digitally enabled services, remote access and data-based services using our SIDRIVE IQ digital platform for drive systems. This person will work as the Cybersecurity Expert, responsible for the EMEA region with a reporting line also to the Cybersecurity Manager. 

Cybersecurity Consultant has a passion to support awareness of cybersecurity and translate that into an effective G2M for LDA with focus on the SIDRIVE IQ product portfolio throughout our global organization.  This person will be able to work with our customers to understand their requirements and ensure successful implementation of Siemens industrial security measures.

The role location is flexible, however there will be a requirement to travel to our Manchester HQ office.

 Industrial security (Product Solution and Security) 
• Support projects as a Cybersecurity Expert in secure services for Siemens LDA within EMEA and other regions.  
• Threat and Risk analysis of designed solutions based on SIDRIVE IQ platform.
• Support with implementation of cybersecurity measures (e.g. secure project management (PM@Siemens) and secure service delivery) in UK on behalf of the Cybersecurity Manager.
• Preparation and auditing for Cyber Essentials+ certification in UK.
• Regular security status updates, KPI’s and risk reports to the Cybersecurity Manager.
• Support in cybersecurity incident and vulnerability handling.

G2M - Designing & driving implementation
• Support in definition and development of story around cybersecurity for SIDRIVE IQ to facilitate G2M and sales in alignment with responsible Cybersecurity Manager.
• Establish, align and implement measures to expedite organizational processing of cybersecurity requirements at point of sale (direct sales, promotors, distributors etc).
• Support in generation and update of required documentation and tools for sales support (e.g. whitepapers, assessment tools, certifications).
• Support in design and supply of SIDRIVE IQ system architectures according to required standards such as IEC 62443, NIST.
• Participate in global LDA cybersecurity community.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
• Strong understanding of one or more security industry frameworks (E.g. IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001).
• Extensive experience working in industry.
• A relevant degree (e.g. Computer Science) to a high standard.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in-person or through virtual means across all levels in the organisation and though virtual means with colleagues and customers from different countries.
• Knowledge of Data privacy (e.g. DPA, GDPR).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.


Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education & Experience:
• Experience working on IACS, OT, IoT security projects.
• Relevant industry certifications CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, SSCP, GICSP
• UK Security Clearance.
• Knowledge of Siemens Product Solution & Security.
• Expert knowledge of NIS Directive.
