How will you help change the future with us?

  • Responsible for end-to-end management of strategic proposals to include entire bid lifecycle such as win themes, bid strategy, pricing, teaming, competitive analysis, solution development, and proposal workflows.
  • You will lead and collaborate with teams consisting of sales, solution architects, purchasing, project management, commercials, legal and service to create competitive and innovative high value IoT solution proposals tailored to customer’s requirements and win strategies.
  • Executing and continuously improving and digitalizing the sales process according to market, customer and internal requirements.
  • Building-out and replicating our solutions portfolio globally after a thorough assessment of the business potential and an evaluation of the applicability of recurring solutions to different sales regions.
  • Leading solution creation including market & competitor assessment, value story, scope of work descriptions, service and operations concept and implementation plan.
  • Drive global sales enablement of new solution portfolio. 
  • Interfacing with Siemens regional companies, external partners, and suppliers to facilitate joint go-to-market and build complex solutions leveraging the eco-system.
  • Other related activities strategy development, process improvement, portfolio analysis and cross company growth programs.

Skills and experience you’ll need to bring to transform the everyday

  • Advanced Degree; preference for business, computer science or engineering with 5-10 years of experience predominantly in an IT professional services solution business in bid management, sales operations, project management or solution design. Ideally in multiple functions.
  • Experience in cost estimation and risk assessment of IT-service or complex solution projects. Preferably from a project management perspective.
  • Good understanding of customer, consortium, and supplier contracts. With previous exposure to operations and maintenance contracts to understand SLAs, operating procedures, and costing.
  • Experience in public sector and utility tendering plus the ability to prepare proactive industry offers.
  • Knowledge of solutions and offerings within either one of the fields Energy/Power Grid-, Industry/PLM software- or Building-solutions is required.
  • Demonstrated previous expertise in writing and quality control of Scope of Work and Solution documents including RFx responses, budget offers, T&Cs, offer letters and executive summaries.
  • Ability to motivate and guide a bid team in the right direction even under pressing deadlines and strong competition. Optimistic and tenacious at the same time; Ability to motivate self and others to achieve results.
  • Structured and efficient work style with the ability to also improve the efficiency of others. Proven ability to work on multiple projects/programs/ opportunities at one time.
