The incumbent of this position will advance the business area’s image, drive employee alignment and engagement, and promote executive visibility. The position will be responsible to develop internal and external leadership platforms and content and manage speaker placements. Communications support for executive management engagements, both internal and external, is a key component of the role. Additionally, the role will collaborate closely with all areas of the business, including the Siemens Healthineers Corporate Communications teams.  

Essential Job Functions 

• Drive executive and employee communications strategies, policies, standards and plans throughout all levels of the business

• Write / edit leadership communications, effectively capturing the voice and strategic priorities of executive management.  This could include creating talking points, question-and-answer preparation, video script development and related deliverables in support of the executive management speaking opportunities and meetings

• Prepare specific presentations that include focused messages about our business to the intended audience, both internally and externally

• Contribute as a business leader, sharing experience and best practices with senior-level management on critical employee, field, channel or executive communications elements

• Proactively counsel senior level and executive management on critical communications elements of change management strategies and methods

• Select, manage, develop, and motivate media agencies to successfully promote and drive our business

• Plan, manage and execute Town Hall & Leadership Meetings through communications that build awareness, understanding, and alignment on critical topics

• Create innovative ways to communicate that will inform and engage a diverse, global employee base in a clear, timely and transparent manner, so strengthening the employee engagement

Critical Competencies

• Ability to communicate effectively, with clarity and precision, in both written and verbal capacities

• Strong executive presence and comfortable working with and advising senior management

• Ability to interact and effectively communicate with all levels of staff throughout the organization

• Able to manage without authority & have excellent consultative skills

• Strong organizational and coordination skills and attention to detail

• Proven success in developing and executing internal communications strategies for senior executives within a large business

• Experience in delivering on sensitive and/or crisis communication requests in a large-scale corporate environment 


• A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, English, Public Relations or Journalism, is required

• 10 years experience in internal, external, and executive communications support

• Prefer to have experience in the healthcare environment

• Ability to interact with all levels of the company top to bottom, including most senior company management.
