We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Sales Professional to join our team in our Bowen Hills, QLD offices.  Reporting to the Area Sales Manager, this role will be responsible for customer & portfolio growth targets in Queensland for the Digital Industries Drive and Automation portfolio. The primary function is to achieve annual sales growth targets working closely with our business partners while being supported by Business Unit technology teams to provide competitive and innovative solutions to our customers.

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: 
• Performing all required business development activities such as;
  - Position Digital Industries as the Industry 4.0 technology partner of choice for end users, OEMs, & system integrators
  - Identifying and evaluating customer needs to provide the best product/system for the application
  - Work with our partners & business units in preparing and submitting technical offers to customers
• Be the customer advocate within the Siemens organisation, taking responsibility for all customer engagement ensuring a positive experience
• Perform sales administration tasks such as sales opportunity pipeline management, CRM management etc.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a Trade/Diploma/Degree in an electrical or automation discipline and have experience in an end-to-end Sales or Business Development role where they can demonstrate a successful track record. You will have a technical understanding of Low Voltage Drives and Automation offerings and their application.

You must be able to communicate effectively and be able to build strong relationships at all levels within customer organisations and internally.
