Head of Global Training

Primary Job Function:

Develop and lead the Global Sales Training program. Develop a comprehensive and modular strategy for sales representative training program. Ensure internal compliance for sales training programs.

Effective leadership skills, ability to think strategically and to work in a team environment.  

Responsibilities for Global Sales Training:

  1. Responsible for developing Global Sales Training strategy that aligns to the business objectives.
  2. Responsible for the design, development and delivery of global sales training programs focused on new sales team member and on-going improvement of sales force results
  3. Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Commercial Strategy and Compliance  to drive the creation and delivery of training that meets the objectives of Global Sales strategy
  4. Collaborate with Marketing to drive compliant key messages to our customers through our sales team
  5. Oversee the development, skill and expertise within sales training personnel to independently deliver quality training and actionable pull through plans for training reinforcement
  6. Performance manage and develop training department staff.
  7. Provide support, coaching, work direction and guidance to sales training staff and field sales trainers to drive strong coaching and training results
  8. Ensure cost effectiveness in selection of training products and technical systems, including remote technology, that most appropriately meet the business objectives and bring training value to the sales team.
  9. Analyze testing data and feedback from sales team members post-training event to determine program enhancements or modifications.
  10. Develop certification program for developmental advancement within sales team and track progress.
  11. Manage budget for the Global Sales Training function.

·       Knowledge of the med device industry, market research & data analytics, budgets and finance

·       Excellent problem-solving skills, with experience building strategic frameworks, assessing new markets, and segmenting customers

·       Proven track record of success collaborating with and managing cross-functional projects
