Digital Marketing Specialist

Job Description

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for digital marketing supporting global B2B, SMB-focused campaigns. The person in this role should have a B2B background in eCommerce, digital marketing and sales enablement. The person in this role should know how to organize and interpret data.

Working within the global mainstream marketing programs team, you would be responsible for the following functions within your role:

  • Support for social media (both organic and paid) initiatives, management and interaction with customers on both internal and external community sites (Siemens Community, Facebook, G2 and Capterra, etc.).
  • Ongoing research on best practices, propose and manage tests, and create a strategic recommendation related to execution of Account based marketing (ABM) campaigns, including messaging, tactics, vendor recommendation and management, and execution.
  • Ongoing research on best practices related to digital campaigns targeting SMB audiences. This will include recommendation of new tactics, messaging or content formats, selection of one or more for measured tests, and reporting on results.
  • Support for development and execution of online marketing tactics (SEO, SEM, and more) and demand generation campaigns, and content creation, including development of email materials, customer videos, digital assets, online webinars, and interactive assets.
  • Development of customer stories and personas, including customer interviews, customer videos, blog posts and case studies.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE

  • 1-3 years relevant marketing campaign and/or content development experience in a B2B software environment
  • CAD, PLM or related industry experience a plus
  • Strong writing skills and demonstrated experience delivering content for marketing campaigns, websites and sales enablement materials
  • Knowledge of the practical application of social media in B2B marketing
  • Knowledge of SEO and PPC ideal.
  • B2B eCommerce experience a plus.
  • Detail oriented. Strong project management skills.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks, with tight and often changing deadlines.
  • Ability to work comfortably in a matrix environment. Excellent listening and communication skills with strong ability to work with people at all levels.
  • Applicable BA or BS Degree
