What are my responsibilities?

We are looking for an experienced professional who assists the global Airports business of Siemens Logistics in the following

Primary functions:

  • Process management of the Limits of Authority (LoA) process for bid approvals
  • Provide transparency across the project portfolio by implementing a Key Performance Indicator (KPI) dashboard and project portfolio reporting
  • Process management of the Project Status Review (PSR) process for execution of projects


  • Monitor, control, correct and train the LoA as well as the PSR process including tools
  • Maintain and continuously improve the LoA as well as the PSR process guideline, tools and templates for efficient use in all relevant bid and execution projects 
  • Organization of LoA and PSR meetings, verification of compliance with LoA and PSR guidelines
  • Milestone monitoring and status reporting across the project portfolio
  • Creation/determination of KPIs for the early identification of critical projects
  • Development of a project KPI dashboard for project portfolio status reporting
  • You will become a As a team member of the Siemens Logistics  SL AIR Project Management you will work closely with all our international bid and project execution teams that serve our clients around the world

What do I need to qualify for the role?

  • BS or MS degree in Engineering is required, additional expertise in Business Administration is of advantage
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of Baggage Handling Systems or other projects with a similar complexity (industrial, design and build)
  • Strong experience in project management and project controlling
  • Certification in project management by PM@Siemens, alternatively PMI, IPMA or GPM
  • Extensive experience in Agile and/or Lean Management Methods
  • Proficient use of MS Office applications, especially MS Excel, is mandatory
  • Fluency in the English language is mandatory, basic knowledge of the German language is of advantage
