Lead strategic buyer responsibilities:

  • Strategic project procurement
    • Supplier selection & assessment;
    • Supplier negotiations (contract terms & conditions);
    • Localization possibility determination & execution in close collaboration with project managers and technical experts;
    • Supplier management & contract administration;
  • Supplier performance (incl. price level) continuous improvement;
  • Collaboration with internal stakeholders;
  • Ad-hoc procurement on as needed basis;
  • Claim management escalation lever;
  • Other tasks as assigned by manager in the area of responsibilities


  • Higher Technical/engineering education;
  • 3-10 years experience in strategic procurement of spare parts, equipment, technical services in Technological/Service company;
  • Ability to assess suppliers’ capabilities;
  • Self-organized, able to work under minimum supervision, accurate and smart;
  • Negotiation skills;
  • General knowledge of contract management & Russian contract law;
  • English level (oral & written) – intermediate; Russian – fluent
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills;  team player; ability to work in multi-tasking and cross-functional environment.
