Senior Director: Solutions Marketing, Laboratory Diagnostics

With the broadest portfolio of in vitro diagnostic tests, instruments, automation, IT, workflows, and services available, Siemens Healthineers provides customized solutions to meet the needs of diagnostics laboratories worldwide. The Senior Director Solutions Marketing and team will collaborate with multidisciplinary franchises to help Sales demonstrate and quantify the clinical, operational, and financial value of Siemens Healthineers solutions versus competitors.

In a highly competitive, constantly changing market, the Solutions Marketing professional will lead a team to:

  • Lead the development of portfolio-wide marketing strategy and drive the creation and country adoption of annual laboratory diagnostics marketing plan to align with the strategy
  • Develop educational programs and tools to train sales teams worldwide to quantify and sell the value of our competitive and differentiating solutions
  • Coach franchise teams to develop, quantify and deploy product-specific value-based marketing content
  • Ensure that local teams are equipped with content and tools to help customers comply with new regulations.
  • Collaborate with our in vivo diagnostics and therapy businesses to create disease-state, digitalization, and value-based marketing programs—as well as to position Siemens Healthineers via our company-wide value promises
  • Identify new cross-portfolio opportunities based upon the most recent competitive and healthcare trends
  • Work closely with regional business management teams to contribute to achievement of overall business goals (e.g., increased: customer win rates, customer retention, revenue, profitability, share of wallet)
 

Required Knowledge, Skills, Education & Experience

  • Strategic, big picture thinker with strong conceptual, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Collaborative with ability to work across business lines and partner to build consensus and achieve results
  • Proven and consistent track record of results, especially on complex projects with challenging KPIs
  • Ability to manage a high-functioning team and to coach peers
  • Demonstrated success in creating and quantifying value propositions to showcase the clinical, operational, and financial value of solutions
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales training programs
  • 7+ years of relevant commercial (e.g., sales, service, marketing) experience in healthcare, preferably laboratory diagnostics
