About the Role

We are looking for a strong User Research professional to join our Product and Design team. As an ideal candidate, you will lead user testing and research projects that will help inform the direction of new and existing products and features. Specifically you will:

  • Collaborate actively as part of a cross-functional product team.
  • Partner with designers, product teams, and management in defining requirements and specifications for product designing and development.
  • Facilitate proactive collaboration and help bridge alignment within or across teams.
  • Design, plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative studies including, but not limited to, usability sessions, in-depth interviews, cart sorting, surveys, and any methodologies using user-centered design approach.
  • Conduct usability analysis and testing, evaluating, and reporting results to team and stakeholders to help foster empathy, elevate customer understanding, and help achieve product and business impact.
  • Translate findings into actionable design recommendations.
  • Collaborate with other teams, regularly communicating work status and findings of projects.
  • Must be organized, able to act independently, and able to switch rapidly between different projects in a fast-paced environment.

About You

  • Minimum 3 years relevant User Research experience. 
  • Experience leading research programs that create a large impact on product decisions.
  • Ability to conduct traditional and rapid cycle evaluation of products like, prototype testing, usability, and user experience testing.
  • Ability to conduct user research studies in diverse populations demonstrated by a portfolio of designing and executing research studies.
  • Clear, demonstrableexperience as a product researcher or similar role with a proven record of seeing products from concept to delivery.
  • Effective verbal and written communication style distilling complex multi-method research reports into understandable, compelling, connected, and actionable insights.
  • Ability to deliver on the research process including initial prioritizing, analysis, and insight storytelling.
  • The ability to think creatively and experiment with different tools and methods
  • Familiarity with tools like Figma, Sketch, Principal, Invisionapp, Miro, Zoom, MS office tools or similar.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
