What part will you play?
  • You are responsible for Digital Industry trade and technology media relations; you coordinate and perform communication activities which support the business topics 
  • You translate business goals into a media relations strategy with concise communications plans and drive implementation
  • You effectively handle and coordinate all trade and technology media enquiries, including enquiries related to business strategy and issues or crises
  • You build and maintain a strong network to media stakeholders
  • You prepare media events, engagements and communications activities by providing concise briefings and executive summaries to Senior Management
  • You build, conceptualize and write text, media statements and releases, briefing documents as well as speaker notes
  • You ensure the integration and implementation of the messages on communications channels like social media
  • You proactively identify and communicate potential issues in messaging and processes to Communications management before they arise

We don’t need superheroes, just super minds.
  • You have a university degree or equivalent; further education in the field of communications is desired
  • Based on this, you gained long-term experience as spokesperson at an institution or a communications agency, corporate communications or communications strategy, ideally in an industrial and digital environment 
  • You do have a solid know-how and experience in media relations work, including print, audio-visual, podcasts and online 
  • You have experience in advising senior management on strategic topics and issues management and have project management experience 
  • You are proficient in written and spoken English and German and have already worked in an international environment
  • You can effectively meet deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with minimal direct supervision 
  • You have a strong command of digital channels such as Twitter, LinkedIn, blogging platforms, etc, including Social Media content management systems (Sprinklr)
  • You are available for occasional travel in “new normal” times (e.g. to support executives at fairs & events)
