Lightworks now form the Centre of Excellence for Visualization inside the Siemens Digital Industries Software division. With specialisms in 3D graphics, ray tracing, virtual reality, games engines and UI, the Lightworks team supports advanced visualisation usage across the world-leading Siemens product design software range and directly with end users.

What we’re looking For

Are you a both an imaginative and technical 3D Artist with an eye for visualisation using 3D CAD software? If so, we have a rare opportunity in our team and would love to hear from you! Reporting to the Creative Team Manager, you will be responsible for asset creation, both to support visual-based marketing material created by the company, as well as within the delivered products.

What you’ll be doing

Our role has two primary objectives: we utilise the company’s products to assist in creating stunning images, animations and marketing materials; and to generate digital assets and resources for use within the products themselves. We are also internal users of new products and provide testing and feedback to the development team.

Siemens 3D Artists produce the highest quality marketing material for both internal and external customers as well as assisting marketing campaigns and sales opportunities. As a Siemens visualisation expert, you’ll provide feedback on internal products on usability and feature set, and may deliver webinars, blog posts, user training and presentations on how best to use the visualisation within the product range.

What you’ll bring
  • A full understanding of the workflow for taking complex CAD data through to high-end imagery
  • The ability to model in 3D with a good eye for detail
  • Passion for continuous learning and have an adaptable approach to running a range of projects, at concept and detail level
  • An understanding of the material and lighting creation process and be familiar with content creation packages as you will provide assets for a number of our visualisation domains including immersive through to fully photorealistic
  • Knowledge of using content-supporting, industry standard, DCC software, as well as any experience of content creation for use in EPIC Unreal Engine
  • Experience with packages such as Adobe Substance Designer or Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects and Premier Pro or similar
