Strategic Pricing Manager

Position Overview:
Siemens is looking Strategic Pricing Manager for Peachtree Corners location. The role of strategic pricing lead will be responsible for 2 key areas of the business: 1. Implementing pricing strategies to reduce the manual intervention on quotations. 2. Develop strategies to improve profitability of our lowest performers. This role will have direct linkage to our price performance and improving profitability programs.

The suitable candidate will have experience with pricing, a good understand of financials, working with sales and business functions. A plus is if they have experience with COMPAS Go! pricing, large project pricing, SAP and/or Tableau.

What you will need:
• BS/BA degree required, majors in technical or financial vocations are preferred.
• Professional experience including 5+ years in product industries
• Experience in pricing or financials fields
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrates strong system skills, especially Excel, and Word, as well as PowerPoint, etc.
• Applies a high level of critical thinking to balance profitability and competitiveness in pricing decisions.
• Proven ability to analyze multiple data sets to identify trends and patterns
• Applies a Customer Service orientation with internal customers utilizing strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrates and applies strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills
• Above average math comprehension is needed due to the financial nature of the position.
• This position requires employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.

What will set you ahead of the pack:
• Experience with Tableau, SAP and/or COMPAS GO,
• Experience creating and executing pricing on large projects
• Knowledge of the electrical distribution sales channel (in particular go to market strategies) in both the simple and complex apparatus markets.
• Ability to process and work with big data through various tools to drive solutions and report automation

Key Working Relationships:
This candidate will be an immediate member of the EP Apparatus Offer Management team (reporting to the Offer Management head). They will work closely with the EP MAP team to improve both processes and customer profitability. They will also work closely with the COMPAS team on improving the pricing analyst experience. Close relationships with sales will also be important as we develop new tools and processes to automate and improve turn-around time.
